Mukhtasar al-Quduri
The Mukhtasar al-Quduri (al-Kitab al-Mukhtasar of Imam al-Quduri) is the most basic manual on Islamic law, based on Qur'anic and Prophetic evidences, authored by:
Imam Abu'l-Husayn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ja'far ibn Hamdan al-Quduri (362 AH - 428 AH) (may Allah have mercy on him)
according to Hanafi principles of interpretation and methodology.
It was written over a thousand years ago, and it has been translated into English for the very first time.
The date of completion of its English translation coincides with the date of the 1000th death anniversary of its author, Imam al-Quduri (may Allah have mercy on him) (translation completed in first week of Rajab 1428 AH).
We pray to Allah the Almighty that he grants its translator with acceptance and proximity with Him as He has done so to its author, as well as universal benefit to all those who seek to study it and gain the goodness from it.
